Suitable as both an indoor or outdoor basketball hoop, the GS72 features a 3' overhang, a tempered glass backboard and rugged steel backboard frame. The external compression height adjustment mechanism provides smooth and effortless height adjustment from 6' to 10'. Every component of the GS72 exceeds the most stringent industry standards, and like all Goalsetter basketball systems, is manufactured in the USA with unmatched quality and workmanship.
Internal Compression Height Adjustment Mechanism
Goalsetter's patented Compression Height Adjustment Mechanism is the feature that allows the rim height of your Goalsetter to raise and lower infinitely from 6' to 10'. Goalsetter's unique internal compression height adjustment provides a smooth, effortless adjustment with a simple turn of the height adjustment handle and is more efficient and safer than standard tension jack mechanisms used on other height-adjustable basketball systems.
Goalsetter also offers an External Compression Height Adjustment Mechanism that allows rim height adjustment from 6' to 10', as well as a Fixed Height Mechanism which does not allow height adjustment.

WHAT'S MOST COMMON? |
| Hands down the RuffNeck System; in-ground, fixed-height, is the most cost-effective for public, outdoor use. 20-year warranty, nice board size, very cost-effective. For a little nicer looking system with a bit more functionality, consider the Legend and the Legend Jr.
Adjustable Height: You can't go wrong with any. Most cost-effective is the Attack System but the move up to the Force System or Titan System gets you not only larger board size options, but also the Lifetime Superior Warranty.
Portables: The Fury System is the most commonly sold system to church groups and youth groups, and any organization type where you know, more or less, who's going to play on it. It's heavy enough for aggressive adult play and more than stable enough for youth play. Lifetime Limited Warranty covers everything basketball related, including dunking, but not the SHAQ hang on the rim gorilla slam. For aggressive play or high-level competition play, go up to the Storm System or Thunder System. They are heavier so can support a larger board (glass) and they come with a Lifetime Superior Warranty. Everything is covered.
